June 25, 2011 – La Bella Intimates Opens in Hannibal Square
LaBella Intimates opened in Hannibal Square this past march. Owner Santa LaBellman moved to Maitland 10 years ago from Latvia in Eastern Europe where many of her store items are also from. She married into the family that owns and operates LaBelle Furs. She intitially opened herlingerie store in the downtown Orlando LaBelle Furs store before moving it to Winter Park. “I love this location as it feels like a European town” she says. June 20, 2011 – La Bella Opens in Winter Park
Santa LaBellman, who is the U.S. distributor for three Eastern European lingerie brands, has just opened a retail lingerie store in Winter Park, FL under the La Bella name she also uses for her wholesale business.
LaBellman, whose distribution operation had been based in TX, moved to FL and opened the 1000-square-foot store earlier this year offering the three brands she distributes: Nikol Djumon (from Latvia), Kris Line (from Poland) and V.O.V.A. (Latvia). She also sells such brands as Bedhead, Wendy Glez, Tout La Nuit and Yummie Tummy.
LaBellman said the new store has been a success because there is no other lingerie specialty store in her immediate area and because she is extremely selective about which brands she sells.

LaBella Intimates (411 West New England Ave., Winter Park, FL 32789, Facebook, Twitter) held a private opening Thursday evening May 26, 2011 in the historic Hannibal Square area of Winter Park. The shop is the brainchild of Santa Labellman, daughter-in-law of the owner of LaBelle Furs. Labellman’s intimates shop offers every single size of bra, custom fittings (she’s known as the bra whisperer) and a European selection of intimates & pajamas.
